It was a pleasure to meet Adonna Ballard at the Old Tascosa Cycling Club meeting this past Monday. I wish to thank her for inviting me to tour the non-profit bicycle motocross racetrack they are just finalizing, the Tornado Alley BMX Track. The track provides new riders with a gift bag containing lots of information, including bicycle safety.
So kids, get your bike, helmet, pads and other accessories ready, check the schedule for races, and hit the track, it is a lot of fun!
The Tornado Alley BMX Track is sanctioned by the American Bicycle Association (ABA), and promotes the sport of Bicycle Motocross (BMX) in the Texas Panhandle and provides competitive safe and fun BMX racing for “kids” of all ages (boys, girls, moms, dads, even grandparents); come with your family, meet new friends, build self-esteem and practice physical fitness.
