Cycling Notebook: Safety follow-up

Under Texas law, cyclists are to “ride near the curb and go in the same direction as other traffic.” While “near the curb” is somewhat subjective, the Texas Bicycle Coalition recommends a buffer of about three feet between rider and curb.
