LMRA Bicycle Club Mission Statement
Promote North Texas bicycling and community involvement while advancing cycling safety, health benefits and local bicycle charity rides. Increase safe routes/trails within local communities; further off-road trail creation and public right-of-way signage and “bicycle route” creation on new/existing roadways. Provide club members and LMCO Community Relations a means to contribute and draw attention to local charities through participation/contribution to charity rides
Who are LMRA Bicycle Club Members?
LMRA members who bicycle or want to bicycle. We are an diverse group of cyclists, from Cruisers (10+ mph average), to Pacers (15+ mph), to Swiftys (19+ mph). We’ve brand new to the sport smiling cyclists, and current and former racers, road cyclists, mountain bikers and those in between. Young to more experienced, men, women, families. Cyclists who now know other cyclists to ride with, to share experiences with and to learn from.
We do organized club rides (breakfast rides, after-work rides, weekend rides), and impromptu rides with other membership. Plan club participation in local charity organized rides and hold training sessions on all aspects of cycling.
We are cyclists riding with, helping and organizing other cyclists. Come join us.
