San Antonio residents have many chances next week to give input on projects that will affect walking and cycling.
Hays St. Bridge Development – June 27, 2pm, 1901 S. Alamo
A plan to build a microbrewery at the Hays Street Bridge came before the San Antonio Planning Commission at their last meeting. A final decision on the project was postponed until the next meeting on July 27, 2012. Anyone interested in the project may attend the meeting. The Planning Commission will meet on June 27 at 2 PM on the first floor of 1901 South Alamo in the Development and Business Services Center Board Room.
Mission Reach Trail Update – June 27, 6pm, 9006 Villamain
Phase 3 of the Mission Reach Ecosystem Restoration and Recreation Project will be discussed at a public meeting on June 27, 2012. Phase 1 and 2 of the Mission Reach are now open. Bexar County, the River Authority, and the Army Corps of Engineers will be on hand to update attendees on the project and answer questions. Anyone who is interested is invited to attend. The meeting will take place at Slattery Hall,

TxDOT Bicycle Transportation Public Meeting, June 28, 4pm, 4615 NW Loop 410
TxDOT San Antonio District will provide information about projects in the district that may affect bicycling at a public hearing on June 28, 2012. In addition to information presented, maps and drawings of upcoming projects will available for view. Public comments are welcome, both at the hearing and in writing. The meeting will be held at The Texas Department of Transportation Building No. 2, 4615 N. W. Loop 410, at 4 PM on June 28.
