2006 National Bike Summit, March 1-3, 2006
Texas Bicycle Coalition encourages local cycling clubs to sponsor a member to attend the National Bike Summit this March in Washington, D.C. This is a great way for cyclists to learn about and be directly involved in the bicycle advocacy process.
Texas Bicycle Coalition staff members will attend the summit to lead the advocacy efforts for Texas cyclists. Join us for networking, training and receiving practical knowledge from the leaders of America’s bicycling movement. After years of focus on the Federal transportation bill, our attention now turns to implementation: turning dollars into better conditions for bicyclists. This year’s summit theme is “building bicycle friendly communities.”
The early bird registration deadline is February 3, 2006. After that date, registration will cost an additional $100. For more information, visit the Conference Brochure or Register Here.
The National Bike Summit is convened by the League of American Bicyclists and sponsored by the Bikes Belong Coalition, Federal Highway Administration, Bikestation, National Bicycle Dealers Association and Cross Alert Systems.
