In March, Timothy Ingalls of Share the Road Amarillo, Durwood Mayfield of BikeTexas, and Dr. Bill Forbes of Stephen F Austin University in Nacogdoches addressed the Commission regarding the benefit that the $35 million that TxDOT is currently flexing away from TAP into the general fund could have for small towns and their active transportation networks.
