BikeTexas Tours has produced bicycle tours at the local, state and national levels for VIPs, large groups, and destination management companies (DMCs) since 2005. Based in Austin, BikeTexas Tours is ideally located to produce eBike tours across the Lone Star State. We are happy to work with you and your team to give your clients an unforgettable experience.
Please use the DMC Activity Builder to try difference options and scenarios. When you are ready to book your tour, you can input your contact information, hit “Submit,” and we will reach out to confirm your date and get down all of the little details like dietary preferences and special requests. The DMC Activity Builder will give you a “ballpark” cost estimate that will be refined once we know all of the details.
I don’t know how to ride a bike. Can I still join a tour?
For your safety, the group’s safety, and the safety of our equipment, all participants MUST be able to confidently ride a bike. If a guest is not riding confidently enough to travel safely on Austin trails and streets, BikeTexas will prohibit that guest from riding and will not issue a refund.
Will our tour be cancelled due to rain or bad weather?
Rides are rain-or-shine. Light ponchos will be provided. Your ride will be cancelled at BikeTexas’ discretion with at least 2 hours notice for temperatures below 50 or above 104, winds over 20 mph, heavy rain or other extreme conditions, or force majeure.
What if I need to cancel?
You may cancel your tour up to 2 weeks prior to your tour to get a full refund. Any no-shows on day of the tour will not be given a refund. If BikeTexas Tours cancels your ride at any time and for any reason, you will receive a full refund.
What about refunds?
We will place a courtesy hold on your date. A 50% down payment is required to hold your date against other reservations. Payment in full is due 1 month prior to your tour departure date. A final head count is due 14 calendar days prior to your tour. Any no shows day of the tour will not be given a refund.
