These cyclists keep pedaling for better trails

The Stewards of the Environment Award went to Ms. Patterson in part for her creation of BikeTexas Trail Doctors, a statewide program to teach volunteers, mountain bikers, and state and local parks officials the ins and outs of sustainable trail construction techniques.
