Cyclists ride in quiet tribute
Annual Ride of Silence honors their fallen, promotes cycling safety.

The Ride of Silence helps to raise awareness about bicycle safety and to remind motorists to be kind to cyclists, said Robin Stallings, executive director of the coalition.
Stallings also hoped the event would educate the community about the Safe Bicycle Passing bill: proposed legislation that requires motorists to give cyclists at least 3 feet of clearance when passing.
