Cyclist killed in crash

Wednesday’s accident is believed to be the first fatality in Bexar County this year involving a cyclist.
Last year, there were five bicycle fatalities in Bexar County, according to the Austin-based Texas Bicycle Coalition.
In 2003, three cyclists died in traffic accidents in the county. Three local bike fatalities also occurred in 2002.
