Bikes collected for hurricane evacuees

Local bike shops are teaming up to help hurricane evacuees get rolling.
“Bicycles can help provide mobility and independence. By collecting and distributing bikes for those impacted by Katrina, we’re all providing evacuees with an important tool to help them rebuild their lives,” said Robin Stallings, executive director of Texas Bicycle Coalition, in a press release.
