Bike and Walk to School

Parents at a number of Amarillo I.S.D. campuses left the cars at home and walked along side their children as they biked or walked to school.
The Texas Bicycle Coalition set up a tent at Lamar Elementary to give parents and students more information about walking or biking to school everyday, and its many benefits.
With a higher percentage of children obese than ever before, both Texas Bicycle Coalition and School representatives say this is a great way to help children loose weight.
