Saris Cycling Group has announced the 2014 5th Grade National Poster Contest. This year’s theme is President John F. Kennedy’s quote, “Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of a bike ride.”
We invite your school to participate in this year’s contest. Encourage all your fifth graders to get their creative juices flowing to design an award-winning poster. Each school should select the top poster to submit to BikeTexas, the Texas contest coordinator, for the statewide contest.
The winning Texas artist will receive a bicycle, a helmet, and a light, and goes on to the national contest for a chance at a trip to Washington, DC in 2015 (and a chance for the student’s school to win bike parking for 20 bikes and The Hub System). The second place winner in the Texas contest wins a helmet and a light, and the third-place winner will receive a helmet.
All entries must be postmarked by March 7. Submit your entry to:
