San Antonio’s Office of Environmental Policy overhauled the website for SA Bikes – the home page for San Antonio’s Bicycle and Pedestrian Program. The new web presence offers citizens a slew of resources, from interactive bike maps to details of the latest city council ordinances related to bicycles. SA Bikes was recently named the city’s “Best Public Works Program In Progress” by the Downtown Alliance, who noted that the program “is intended to enhance San Antonio’s livability by promoting active lifestyles and bicycling as a viable form of clean, alternative transportation for both residents and visitors.” Way to go San Antonio!
