On October 22-24, 2010, Regina Garcia (LCI #725) taught the first Corpus Christi League Cycling Instructor (LCI) Certification course that was sponsored by Bay Area Bicycles and KIII TV 3.
Corpus Christi now has thirteen LCIs (Kim Bell, Mario Garcia, Kevin Gossett, Deidre Hall, Mark Hallowell Sr., Sally Hoke, Anthony Mulheron, Freddy Ramirez, Dorian Ramirez, Janet Walton-Lee, Lisa Wright, and organizers Dave Cochran and Tom Neagli) that can teach Smart Cycling classes.
Our goal by December 2011 is to have over 100 participants take the Traffic Skills 101. We would like to especially thank Preston Tyree, Fred Meredith, Regina Garcia, Nadia Barrera, Rick Hecksel, and Barron Lozano in assisting Corpus Christi in this project.
