Invite Your Friends!
Federal funding played a significant role in getting Austin bike projects on the ground, including the Southern Walnut Creek Trail, the Pfluger bicycle and pedestrian bridge over Lady Bird Lake, and other key parts of Austin’s bike trail network.
Help send two advocates from Austin to the National Bike Summit in Washington, DC, March 10-12 to join with people from around Texas who ride bikes: Come to CYCLEAST (map) Friday, Feb 20, 5-9 PM to share your message for change, hear exciting news about what’s happening in Austin and Texas bicycling, get a sneak preview of the summit, enter the silent auction, and find out how you can take action. $5-$10 donation requested, plus 10% of all Cycleast sales during the event go towards sending advocates to D. C.! Thanks to Cycleast, Live Oak, Counter Culture, Counter Cafe, and Mr. Natural for sponsoring!
