In the latest Bicycle Friendly Community announcement from the League of American Bicyclists on November 7, a new Texas business was added to the list: El Meson Restaurant in Houston, which joins the list on the Silver level. Businesses work hard to be recognized as bicycle friendly, which includes offering employees education and incentives to ride to work and encouraging customers to arrive by bike.
Eighteen Texas Businesses are on the League’s Bicycle Friendly Business list (see the full business list here). Want to join them? Get started here: http://bikeleague.org/content/businesses.
We’re especially proud to see some of our own Business Members on the list: Bicycle Sport Shop, Bike World, and Bikesport. We’d love to get the rest of our business members on the list in 2014!
