BikeTexas Annual Meeting Wrap-Up

The BikeTexas Annual Membership Meeting took place on Saturday, September 12 from 4-5 pm. We welcomed aboard two new board members, Iris Stagner of Mineral Wells and Andy Hollinger of Bedford, and gave a full report on the progress and challenges of the past year, including our legislative successes (SB 161 and SB 2041) and disappointments (the veto of the Safe Passing Bill). We were pleased to report on our growing membership and the success of the monthly member program. After the meeting ended, those of us in Austin stayed to chat and catch up over beer and snacks. Thanks to all the members that participated either in person or via the web conference.
