Join or renew your membership for a chance to WIN a 2011 TREK bike from your favorite Texas TREK Dealer!
HHH attendees and all members – if you join or renew this August (either at our HHH booth, or by online by 5 pm Tuesday, Aug. 24), your name will be entered in our drawing for a bike, to be conducted on Saturday afternoon at the HHH Expo BikeTexas booth. The bike (pictured) is a 2011 Trek Model 1.2 road bike with a recommended retail value of $909.99, donated by Texas TREK dealers. You will be entered in the raffle if you join or renew at HHH, but you don’t have to attend to win!
What if I am already a member of BikeTexas?
If you are already an annual member, you can renew early and your new year-to-year membership will still start the day after your current yearly membership expires. You don’t have to be at HHH to renew, just go to our website and sign up before 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 24, 2010.
What if I am a monthly member of BikeTexas?
BikeTexas monthly members will be entered in the drawing automatically! Your steady monthly contribution is a tremendous commitment that makes planning from year to year much easier and cost-effective for BikeTexas.
What if I am a Life Member?
Life Members are not automatically entered in the membership raffle. Life Members may choose a monthly or annual pledge equivalent to a recurring monthly or annual membership level and participate in the raffle.
Do I have to be present at the drawing to win?
No.
How will I get the bike?
The Trek bike at the BikeTexas booth is a display model. As you well know, a bike needs to be carefully fitted to the individual. For that, you will go to your favorite Texas Trek dealer to pick up your new bike.
Who is not eligible for the drawing?
BikeTexas staff, board members and immediate family are not eligible to win the bike.
When are the rides at HHH?
Hotter’N’ Hell is one of the oldest and largest bike rides in the nation, with well over 10,000 riders each year. The Century and shorter road distances will start at 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 29.
The adjacent Wee-Chi-Tah Off-Road Trail along the Wichita River hosts a 13-mile NORBA mountain bike race on Friday afternoon and 5K, 10K and half Marathon trail runs on Sunday morning. There is also a USA Cycling Race and USA Cycling Criterium during the weekend in addition to plenty of opportunities for food and fellowship. See www.hh100.org for complete details.
