An Invitation From BikeDFW President Eric Jackson
Two years ago BikeDFW had the idea to offer an affordable bus trip to Austin for Cyclists in Suits, that year we had 20 people who took the inaugural trip to Austin and asked legislators to help us by getting the safe passing legislation certified into law. On April 20th, 2009 we are doing this again. The last legislative session we came very close to getting the bill passed, we were only a couple of votes short. We would like for you to come and help us make it happen in 2009.
Here is where you come in; we need as many people as possible to join us on the trip to Austin April 20th 2009. We have buses leaving from Dallas and Fort Worth to facilitate easy access for everyone. The price for the trip will be $46 per person. This will include breakfast on the bus and a dinner gathering at BikeTexas’ headquarters in Austin after the day at the Capitol is done.
