Treasurer, Austin
Christina moved to Austin, TX from Chicago, IL in 2017. While living in Chicago, she became a regular bicycle commuter and has sustained that passion, riding to work every day in hopes to inspire at least one person to start. She now works for the City of Austin in the Parks and Recreation Department as a Project Coordinator. Her projects consist of facility repair, renovation, rehabilitation and new construction. Her roles vary across projects, acting as project manager, architectural designer, owner’s representative or PARD liaison. Prior to this, she worked in private development for companies that purchased, constructed and managed their own properties. She has a Master of Architecture degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Bachelor’s of Science in Architectural Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.When not training for whatever ride or race of interest is coming up next, she enjoys gardening, cooking and various crafts. She continues to be an advocate for bicycle commuters everyday, riding to work and incorporating her experience and knowledge into any city project she is involved in.
