Lance's bikeway nearing finish line?
Construction could start within a year, city says, while cycling advocates dream of a 200-mile extension.

Texas Bicycle Coalition Executive Director Robin Stallings would like to attach the name of Austin's cycling icon to a bikeway running all the way to Houston.
Stallings, for his part, says "it's really frustrating that this has taken so long." And he'd still like to see a separate lane for cyclists on Fourth Street downtown.
Even so, he's looking to add about 200 miles to the plan.
