Winning Campaigns Training in Houston June 8-10, 2012

alliance-logoDear Texas Cyclists:

Please consider taking a long weekend June 8-10 and coming to Houston for the Winning Campaigns Training put on by the Alliance for Biking and Walking!

For general info about the training click here

We are working to find teams from local areas all over the state to attend and get some expert training on developing an advocacy plan for the region. The training works best when a group of about 3 people from the same area attend. They will work together with the expert advocates from the Alliance to develop a comprehensive and specific plan to win better biking in their community.

The training registration fee is $100 per attendee, which includes some meals, but not hotel. The schedule of the training - Friday evening, all day Saturday, and Sunday until 3pm - mean just two nights in Houston. You can request a homestay during registration if you want to save some cash.

Please let someone from BikeTexas know if you are interested, and spread the word around the Valley to anyone wanting to get some professional bike advocacy training!

Here's the registration link for Houston's training:
