Mas O Menos Ride Canceled For Next Year

Mas O Menos Ride EulogyFor the last 20 years, Desert Sports has kicked off the Starlight Theater 100K Mas O Menos Mountain Bike Fest in the austere, beautiful desert landscape around the ghost mining town of Terlingua, just outside Big Bend National Park.

Unfortunately, the popular Texas Mountain Bike Racing Association (TMBRA) Spring Championship Point Series event has been cancelled for February 2010 as agreements with landowners along the route could not be reached. The folks at Desert Sports ask off-road cyclists to stay tuned - that they will be back soon with a new and exciting event that will still make Far West Texas a mountain bike event destination.
