Education - SafeCyclist

The SafeCyclist Certification Training provides teachers and youth community workers with bicycle and pedestrian safety skills and the curriculum needed to teach these life saving skills to their students. A 3- or 6-hour certification course offers P.E. Teachers and Assistants, College Faculty, Public Safety Officers, and Youth Professionals provides professional accreditation to teach the SafeCyclist Curriculum, providing bicycle safety skills to youth in 4th and 5th grade.

Since, 1999 the SafeCyclist Program has certified 3701 Physical Education teachers and community youth workers to teach the SafeCyclist Curriculum to 4th and 5th grade elementary students. Highly skilled SafeCyclist Certified Field Instructors conducted the six hour informative and interactive trainings.
