Brenda has worked at BikeTexas since 2005, coordinating the one of the first Texas Safe Routes to School Pilot Programs in Wichita Falls. She wears many "helmets" at BikeTexas- membership director, bicycle safety educator, KidsKup manager, and coordinates the sales of the BikePedEd coloring books and lights.

As Membership Director, Brenda loves to connect with cycling enthusiasts and share the many BikeTexas programs that benefit all cyclists in Texas. As a League Certified Instructor and BikeTexas SafeCyclist Curriculum instructor, she trains teachers to teach bicycle and pedestrian safety to 4th and 5th graders.

Brenda is a graduate of University of Oklahoma. When Brenda isn't working, you can find her on social rides, adjusting improperly fitted helmets, cooking, and crocheting t-shirt rugs.

Susan's natural love for writing and cycling make her the perfect fit as BikeTexas' Communication Director. She enjoys spreading the word about all things bike related in the BikeTexas newsletter, blog and social media. Susan lives a mostly car free life in Austin and is passionate about making Texas safe and accessible to non-motorists.
As Office Manager, Su juggles the daily operations and accounting of the office in an efficient and cost effective manner. She works between two desks to keep her communications and office manager duties separate.
When she is not on bike, you can find Susan training for the next 10K or a patron the arts. If you're lucky, you may chance upon her singing like Snow White, as one co-worker described her voice.
