TBC Moves to a New Office!
Monday, 13 November 2006

Texas Bicycle Coalition is getting settled into its new offices on E. 6th Street. Not far from the old location on E. 5th Street, the organization has been busy getting the offices ready and organized to prepare for the upcoming programs and legislative session in 2007. The move was a strategic move in order to provide space for expansion and to host dignitaries throughout the state and nation. With the growth of the Texas Bicycle Coalition over the past several years, the new offices will align the organization with its mission in order to provide better support for the cycling community. With room for volunteers and staff to work side-by-side, the offices are a positive change for the future of TBC.

With all the work that has been put into the new ofices, there is still quite a bit of work to be done on the offices, so if you or someone you know could volunteer services in carpentry, landscaping, plumbing, or painting, call the office 512-476-7433 or email: This email address is being protected from spam bots, enable JavaScript to view it. . You can see from the pictures that we're coming along nicely on the inside, but the outside lacks some "curb appeal". So, any help that you can offer would be greatly appreciated!!

Last but absolutely not least, a big Thank You to all those that have helped in the move. Our Local Outreach Coordinators and staff have been working diligently over the past month to remodel and organize the offices. If you're in Austin and have a chance, stop by and say hello and see what a fabulous job the volunteers and staff have done in getting our offices ready and open for the public.
