Last September, BikeTexas Local Outreach Coordinators Elaine Williams and KC Jones attended Fort Worth's largest bike event, the Cowtown Classic Bike Ride. They met with Ride Director Terry Slotsue to express Texas Bicycle Coalition's support and interest in cycling activities in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Sponsored by the Southwest Kiwanis club youth programs, proceeds from the ride are distributed to Cook Children’s Hematology & Oncology Center, as well as to the Lance Armstrong Foundation.
