Texas Bicycle Coalition is pleased to announce the kick-off of the Spring 2008  BikeTexas Kids Kup, made possible by generous support from Recreational Equipment Inc. (REI)

Co-coordinated by Texas Bicycle Coalition, TPWD, TMBRA, and Shimano Youth Series; the BikeTexas Kids Kup events were developed to inspire the next generation of mountain bike enthusiasts as well as introduce children to basic bicycle safety and handling skills. Each BikeTexas Kids Kup event is on the Saturday before each TMBRA Series event.

Many young participants have graduated into the NORBA 10 and under, and 12 and under racing classes. Various activities introduce children to the exciting atmosphere of mountain bike racing with safety seminars, trail maintenance and access sessions, a cross-country race, and various bike safety education activities.

All BikeTexas Kids Kup Events are FREE
All children, 12 and under are welcome
Bring helmet and bike
Registration: 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. - BikeTexas Kids Kup Registration Tent (parental signature on entry form required)
Activities begin: approx. 2 p.m.
