Finding A Safe Path To Ride
Bikers urge city to deliver promised path

Most major cities in Texas have a bicycle transportation coordinator, and some have bicycle transportation advisory committees, said Robin Stallings, executive director of the Texas Bicycle Coalition. Commissions and coordinators often are the key to developing good municipal bike systems, he said.
Advisory commissions particularly provide forums of public discussion on biking issues and ways of shaping policy without bogging down the city commissions, he said.
