A Voice for the Texas Bicycle Industry
Business membership with Texas Bicycle Coalition strengthens the bicycle industry in Texas. Texas Bicycle Coalition is the only statewide bicycle advocacy group in Texas. Since 1991,
TBC has made sure that cyclists retain their right to ride Texas roadways. Our work protects your investment, and it builds your customer base by introducing thousands of children every year to the principles of safe cycling.
Responsible, Professional Affiliation
BikeTexas Business Members are welcome to use the BikeTexas logo in electronic and print materials to display their support of bicycle advocacy and safety education in Texas. Business Members are also welcome to include information published by Texas Bicycle Coalition, such as resource sheets and educational flyers, in their own publications. Publications
Texas Bicycle Coalition provides Business Members with poster, flyers, and publications to inform the public of important cycling events, initiatives, and legislative developments. Business members receive ten copies of the BikeTexas Annual Report to share with their clients. These materials will communicate to your customers that your business is supporting efforts to make bicycling better for all Texans. Business members are also encouraged to forward the BikeTexas Update ENewsletter to their email list, and include BikeTexas RSS NewsFeeds on their homepage to keep customers up to date with BikeTexas - our news is your news.
Building Bicycling for Better Business
It is well documented that people are more likely to become cyclists when they perceive that there are safe facilities in their communities. By working with our legislators and government agencies, Texas Bicycle Coalition is promoting the sport and helping to ensure your business can flourish in a bicycle-friendly environment. Politicians are beginning to recognize that bicycling is beneficial to their constituencies in many ways, and they are more willing to invest in bicycle infrastructure for the positive returns that this garners.
