Dear fellow cyclists,
Now that the gift-giving holidays are over, we at BikeTexas are asking you to make one more gift before the New Year: a year-end contribution to BikeTexas is an investment in bike paths and trails, Safe Passing, and better riding conditions for you and all Texas cyclists.
Though economic times are hard, we can't let it stop us from pursuing our mission, because the safety of cyclists is just too important. More and more people are getting on bikes more often, whether for transportation, health or fun. This makes safety education programs, bike facilities and Safe Passing legislation all the more vital! We have big plans on all three of these fronts in 2009 - but the success of these projects depends on you!
I'm asking you to please do what you can, and include BikeTexas in your end-of-year giving.
