Event Proceeds Benefit: All proceeds will be donated to the Independence Fund, a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable foundation supporting America’s severely wounded veterans.
On this spectacular route you will see it all; from beautiful tree lined roads, to picturesque ranches, and stunning homes. You will roll through the gentle hills of North Tarrent County countryside, attack the challenge of Roanoke hill (both directions!), encounter the famous roller coaster hills of Trophy Club (a training favorite of locals) and glide through the parks on beautiful Lake Grapevine with stunning views of sailboats on the lake. Of course there will be plenty of traffic, sag and mechanical support; 7 fully stocked-by-Central Market rest stops (even an Ice Cream stop) and mouth-watering post-ride food from Chik-fil-A.
You can even bring the non-riders, if you know any. On site at Dragon Stadium there will be several military helicopters to view up close and personal, active service personnel to explain to us civilians all about the helicopters, and some of the wounded vets who will be participating in the ride. Be sure and meet these amazing people. The proceeds from the rally go to help make the lives of our severely injured soldiers just a little more like what they were used to.
And after the ride, don't forget to stop back by Main Street in Grapevine and visit on of the top rated festivals in the country. GrapeFest will be going on. With all of that, you have a day of great riding, beautiful scenery and serious fun!
