Junction, Texas


Start: 8:00 am, Kimble County Courthouse in Junction.

Ride 10, 20, 40 or 100 miles on the Western edge of the Hill Country in Kimble and Menard Counties. Starting in Junction's Schrier Park on the Llano River, the ride passes by the 1800's era Fort McKavett State Historic Site and Menard's Presidio San Saba of the1700's Spanish era before returning to Junction, climbing and descending the hills between the Llano and San Saba River watersheds and crossing both rivers several times.

A flatter out-and-back route of 40 miles follows the North Llano River to Simon's Mechantile Store at Roosevelt.

A shorter out and back 26 mile ride is held Sunday Morning.

FREE Meals for cyclists Friday and Saturday Evening and Sunday Morning.
