BikeTexas Kid’s Cup / Shimano Youth Series

April 12 and 13 at Reimers Ranch Park in Travis County.

2:30 - 3:00 Shimano Youth Series race course practice

3:00 - 4:00 Shimano Youth Series races

Sponsored by the Texas Bicycle Coalition, Shimano Corporation, Clif Bar, and organized by the Solar Eclipse Racing Team, the BikeTexas Kids Kup and Shimano Youth Series events feature a safety clinic, where kids learn the importance of wearing a helmet and maintaining their bicycles, a skills clinic, where participants learn technical bike handling skills and a race clinic, where the youngsters will find appropriate age/distance race courses to experience the thrill of mountain bike competition.

The best thing – everyone is a “Winner” thanks to Shimano providing medals, tee-shirts and prizes to all participants! All kids, 12 and under, are welcome to participate, including trikes and training wheels, and it’s free! Just bring a helmet, bike, and mom or dad to sign the entry form.

Registration opens at 12 noon on Saturday at the Solar Eclipse Racing Team tent with activities beginning at 2pm. Sign your kids up and share their excitement!
