Registration is now open.
Reward yourself with a fully supported bike ride on quiet country roads through some of the most spectacular fall scenery Texas has to offer. The Texas Hill Country River Region Classic travels from Garner State Park and follows the Frio and Sabinal rivers plus climbs the ridge that divides them.
Route choices include 34, 52, 68 and 94 miles with well-stocked rest stops about every 10 miles.
A post-ride pasta dinner is provided to all registrants for the 2008 River Region Classic.
Showers are available in the Garner campgrounds.
Proceeds of this ride benefit local civic organizations.
This ride is limited to 600 entrants and will be held rain or shine.
- A skills clinic on climbing and descending will be presented in the park on Friday evening, October 10.
- Join the Austin Cycling Association and the San Antonio Wheelmen for an informal club ride from the area on Sunday morning, October 12.
