Excellent training ride for Hotter ‘N Hell Hundred.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICK-UP: Register online at www.RotaryRideforHunger.org.

Registration and packet pick-up on Saturday, August 4th, will be from 4 to 9 PM at BIKE PRO of San Angelo, 2503 Sherwood Way, across the street from Robert E. Lee Junior High School.

Ride Day (Sunday) registration will be 6:30 AM to 8:00 AM at the Pavilion at the North Concho Camping Area of the San Angelo State Park.

San Angelo State Park, North Concho Equestrian Camping Area: The entrance is on FM2288, approximately 2 miles south from Highway 87. Automobile parking is inside the park entrance only, not along the approach road or on FM 2288.

ROUTE INFORMATION: All rides will start and finish at the North Concho Equestrian Camping area of San Angelo State Park. Park admission is included in the ride entry fee for each rider. NON-RIDERS will need to pay park admission fee to park personnel. See link to San Angelo State Park at RotaryRideForHunger.org for information on San Angelo State Park. Showers are available at the State Park near the staging area for use after the ride.

Every route is fully supported with rest stops every 10 to 15 miles and sag wagons (some with trailers) for bike & rider transport. Riders should come prepared to make their own minor repairs so please bring extra tire tubes to fit your wheels. Full mechanical support is available at the start/finish area from Bike Pro of San Angelo.

7:30 am START TIME FOR ALL ROUTES.

ROUTES:
100 miles: Mixed terrain, some flat roads with wide shoulders, mostly rolling hills, several steep hills, mostly paved county roads with a few sections of wide-shouldered highway. (Excellent training ride for Hotter ‘N Hell Hundred in August.)
Metric Century (100 km/62 miles): Mixed terrain, mostly rolling hills, some steep hills, mostly paved county roads with a few sections of wide-shouldered highway. (Excellent training ride for Hotter ‘N Hell Hundred in August.)
35 miles: Mixed terrain, mostly flat roads with wide shoulders, some rolling hills, very few steep hills, mostly paved county roads with a few sections of wide-shouldered highway.
25 miles: Mixed terrain, mostly flat roads with wide shoulders, few rolling hills, paved county & State Park roads with a section of wide-shouldered highway.

All distances are approximate.

NON-SUPPORTED OPTION FOR FAMILIES WITH YOUNG RIDERS OR INEXPERIENCED RIDERS: The San Angelo State Park has over 50 miles of paved/unpaved biking, hiking, & equestrian trails, mostly in the South area of the park. Non-registered riders will need to pay admission fee to park personnel but registered riders are welcomed to ride throughout the park and to use the rest stop & other ride facilities provided by Biscuits & Gravy Rotary Ride For Hunger sponsors.
